People Talent Supervisor

This position is offered in McAllen Office. The main objective is to hire the best talent for the firm’s needs, as well as maintaining and improving the company’s culture according to our guiding principles and values.

PEOPLE TALENT SUPERVISOR

The People Talent Supervisor will oversee the talent acquisition and development processes within the organization. This role focuses on attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent, as well as fostering positive employee experience. The People Talent Supervisor will collaborate with department heads and ensure that the company’s talent strategy aligns with its overall goals. This position requires a strong background in recruitment, employee engagement, and talent management

  • You MUST build relationships with candidates, leadership team, and employees is essential for understanding the needs of the firm.
  • You MUST understand talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection, is foundational to success in this role.
  • You MUST have strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple candidates, schedules, interviews, and other tasks simultaneously.
  • You MUST have attention to detail for resume reviewing, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring no details are missed when evaluating candidates and staff.
  • You MUST have a deep understanding of the company’s culture and values in order to identify candidates who align with them, ensuring long-term success and retention. Additionally, you should embody these values yourself, applying them when working with both new hires and current employees.
  • You MUST be able to handle sensitive personal data about candidates and employees while maintaining confidentiality.

In short, a successful People Talent Supervisor must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and clearly convey expectations to candidates and hiring teams. They need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Understanding the company’s culture and values is essential to ensure the recruitment of candidates who align with them, promoting long-term success and retention. The ability to work under pressure, and a customer-centric mindset are also key to providing positive experience for both candidates and internal teams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of HR laws 
  • Proficiency in typing
  • Spanish speaking
  • No criminal record

COMPENSATION:

Compensation is negotiable based upon experience. The starting gross compensation opportunity can range from $41,600 up to $64,000 for a People Talent Supervisor. The base hourly rate can range based on experience and competency can start at $20.00 hour + Health Benefits, + Bonus Earnings Opportunity, and other Benefits. Our Bonus Earnings Opportunity is a once in a lifetime structure that allows employees to increase their base salary significantly once vested, after the first year of employment.
